Fighting On Facebook
It's a little long, but worth the read if you're against egotism of any kind. A head's up: Fallout 3 is some video game about nuclear war and whatnot. supposed to be really good..I never played it. apparently, not being a fan pisses people off?
Anne Elizabeth Bordelon: I think it's safe to say that Fallout 3 just gained a new fan.
Dustin Boudreaux: That game has me addicted.
Mike Grem: It's a ridiculously fun and in-depth game. The people behind it also have a wonderful sense of humor. (people like this need to go outside more often)
Cody Peltier: you're welcome
Nicholas Bourgeois: you play games, anne??? no way, lady.
Anne Elizabeth Bordelon: Of course I don't play video games, but this one is so tempting...
Nicholas Bourgeois: I don't get it. Isn't it just shooting people in slowmo, or something like that?
Anne Elizabeth Bordelon: The storyline rocks socks though!!
Nicholas Bourgeois: Nuclear bombs and blah blah blah? I'm too busy being amazing for having my discussion chosen for Philosophy. Sccooorree
Mike Grem: Philosophy shares a lot in common with video games, you know. Both detail ideal, fantasy worlds that'll never exist and are equally as practical. (...yeah, buddy)
Nicholas Bourgeois: lol wut (me being nice about the lack of sex the guy above is having)
Anne Elizabeth Bordelon: This is deep Grem. I'm going to have to sleep on it. Hahaha
And good job Nick yours was my favorite out of this batch (see? see? I AM amazing)
Brett Bergeron: Well Nick.....Let me say this. Philosophy is a major part of video games. 'nough said. (alright, guy? when did I say it wasn't?)
Celeste Mary Roberts: One definition of philosophy: the critical study of the basic principles and concepts of a particular branch of knowledge, esp. with a view to improving or reconstituting them.
Everything entails a philosophy. If your topic was chosen for your philosophy class because you are, as you say, "amazing," you'd have enough insight and intelligence to realize that video games follow this definition. (wow. someone's a carpenter for egos, or what???)
Brett Bergeron: Ladies and gentlemen. Nick=Ownd. That is all. (apparently, her boyfriend.)
Anne Elizabeth Bordelon: I think Nick just hadn't viewed video games from that perspective. Lol.
Brett Bergeron: Either that or he just plays xbox. Lolololololol (..really?)
Nicholas Bourgeois: Jesus Christ lol. I didn't say anything about philosophy being a part of video games or not. If any one wants to act as if they proved a point or denounced me in any way, go ahead. Just fill me in on that point; the 'lol wut' was me not really caring about an in-depth response that was just as much off topic.
Celeste Mary Roberts: "What" usually indicates that someone would like something repeated or explained, so I simply assumed that's what was requested. It's also rather disgusting to see someone have to proclaim himself as "amazing," but I'm glad that you can see yourself that way. (fuck you, lady.)
Nicholas Bourgeois: Oh, get over yourself. I wasn't being serious about the amazing comment. How ANYTHING I posted on here would offend/upset ANY ONE, I have no idea. I don't give two shits about this stupid argument. Get off your high horse. If misconception is how you build an ego, then it's clear why you even posted in the first place.

If you are getting on a commercial airliner, for safety’s sake, take a bomb with you…because overwhelming odds are there won’t be two guys on the same plane with a bomb. Have you ever played a sport or a game where you may have messed up more than you have liked and felt that sooner or later it would all even out? Almost as if the universe owed some reimbursement for “screwing...
